SAS 50th Anniversary Lecture Series

For the first time in its 50-year history, the Southampton Art School is sponsoring a series of seven talks Celebrating Art. All lectures will be held in the theatre at the Bruce County Museum and Cultural Centre on Victoria Street in Southampton, from 7 to 9 pm.

The School's mandate has always included community involvement. To mark 50 years of providing art instruction in all its wonderful variety given by the best available artist-teachers, we looked for a way to expand this involvement to a wider community and came up with seven remarkable practioners of their art, each of whom has something new and intriguing to say.
