The Fringe Film Festival- Aug 2

The 6th Fabulous Festival of Fringe Film is on its way. The Grey Zone Collective and the Durham Art Gallery are pleased to bring you another exciting summer festival of delightful and striking fringe, documentary, independent and performance related films.

The festival kicks off at the Gallery on Thursday, August 2 at 7pm with the opening of two captivating and hilarious media works: Christopher Flower’s Science of the Quotidian and the cinematic masterpiece The Way Things Go by Fischli/Weiss. The opening night will continue at the Hanover Drive-In Theatre at 9pm with a program called Love and Automobiles, a series of 35mm films that explore cultural ideas about movies and cars starting @ 9pm.

A festival pass to all events is available for $40. Tickets to screenings are $8. Kids and admission to the Gallery: free
