Blue Mountain Foundation for the Arts
Is anyone else as surprised as I am that BMFA is going to close their retail location? I take that to mean that they will not open as a gallery space. I'm sure a lot of artists in the area will be disappointed. I understand they will be "revitalizing their Arts Centre" to offer a broader range of programming in this region. They are continuing with activities and events. I wish them well.
They plan to return to their origins and be stronger than ever.
The retail operation will close on September 30, 2008.

Surprised yes, but from the email members received today it is apparent the space will remain available for events, shows, or gatherings as such. Will be interesting to see what it might cost per month to rent the space for a show
