Blue Mountain Foundation for the Arts

Is anyone else as surprised as I am that BMFA is going to close their retail location? I take that to mean that they will not open as a gallery space. I'm sure a lot of artists in the area will be disappointed. I understand they will be "revitalizing their Arts Centre" to offer a broader range of programming in this region. They are continuing with activities and events. I wish them well.

They plan to return to their origins and be stronger than ever.

The retail operation will close on September 30, 2008.

I imagine that The Art Map is well liked. When I'm out on the road delivering it, people are excited to see it and say "Oh good ... The Art Map. Who's on it this year?"
