WATERMARKS

Watermarks is an exhibit at the Minto Heritage gallery in Harrriston at the Public Library. If you haven't had a chance to visit this fantastic space now is the time.

Inspired by the waterways of Grey and Bruce counties, this eclectic exhibit also explores the ebb and flow of the artistic process as six artists attempt to capture the elusive manifestations of water in motion. The artists first studied water in its myriad patterns and associations in the Durham Art Gallery’s Drawing Water project during the summer of 2007. Now they have come together again to investigate the idea of water further in WATERMARKS. Also on view are the original Drawing Water pieces and the banners made from them by project mentor Patrick Mahon of the University of Western Ontario.
